Experimental Drawing is drawing in a way that is very unusual or 'experimental' such as drawing blindfolded or drawing with your fingers dipped in ink! It can also be classified on a personal level of doing something experimental that you've never done before, something you're trying that's totally new (ie not following instructions) sort of an "i wonder what would happen if.."Experimental drawing techniques are great tools for overcoming rigidity and tapping into the imagination. In this instance, students drew their interpretations of lines as described by the instructor. "Lines like rain" and "Lines like jagged, rocky cliffs."
